I have been teaching Science for 25 years, the last 13 at Blalack. I have a very high level of expectations both academically and behaviorally. I will challenge your child to his/her fullest potential. If for any reason, your child is not meeting requirements, you will be contacted. I firmly believe that it takes a community to raise a child and hope that you will work with me in this endeavor.

.: Did You Know...
- I have taught 6th (at Kent), 7th and 8th grade Sciences & I LOVE SCIENCE.
- Students earn a bonus point on each graded activity on which they write "I Love Science" in the heading.
- I love technology and use it often, personally, professionally, and with students....and I expect them to use it too!
- I graduated from Texas A & M University in 1982 with a BS in Animal Science...I originally tried to get into veterinary medicine, but changed my field of animals. They call them kids….so I got my degree to teach in 1985 and a Masters in Education in 1987.
- I have had many hours of education at NASA.
- I enjoy reading Science Fiction Fantasy & watching things like Star Trek and Star Wars!
- Although I have over 2000 children, none are biological :)
